When I really think about who I am, at my core, I have this vision of my most authentic self: Me, a kid, sitting in my room playing Barbies for hours (think 6am -7pm), unbothered by if it was a nice day or other kids were together or my sister was doing something else, just SOOO deeply content in the world that I was creating. Truly enjoying myself, without the need of others, without fear of judgment from others, just so secure in knowing this is truly how I loved to spend the day. My authentic self is unbothered by all the noise around me, not worrying if I'm doing enough, not worried about what everyone else is doing, but rather taking stock and channeling that feeling of enjoying my own world that I'm creating.

Just a girl  & her barbies

it all started with...

But it didn't end there...

I was born and then I met Barbie & Polly Pocket and all was right in my world.

Post-pandemic restaurant management was A LOT. I was working 60+ hours a week, laying it on thick for everyone, entertaining diners at the highest level. I thought this is what I wanted. Turns out a massive burnout had other plans for me.

'90's

2014

Started working in restaurants and hospitality…and I fell in love with all of it

2022

Graduated university with a Bachelors of Education, moved to London, UK to teach grade 1 full time!

2010

(but 100% Needed)

Moved from managing one of the busiest fast casual restaurants in Montreal to entering the fine dining scene as a hostess - yes from management to entry level. Have to learn from the bottom up.

2017

Spent my burnout year “off” teaching spin full time, which I loved, but I felt the world around me telling me to grow up - so I decided to go out and search for a “real job” in sales.

2023

The Career Path I Didn't Plan...

I hated it. Everything about the 9-5 office computer life was not for me. My alarm bells were screeching at full volume for me to run and so I ran back into the loving arms of restaurants.

2023 (2 minutes later)

2024

I went full into this coaching program, gave myself permission to grow, to learn and to let go. And so, in May 2024, Michelle Lawee Coaching was born

Michelle Lawee Coaching continues to grow, introducing ALL CAPS coaching, Girls Night In, this website (!!!) and you and I working together.

2025

I dug and dug, and started learning about coaching and everything I read seemed to align with the work I wanted to do in this world. Lo and behold, there was an in person coaching certification program HERE in Montreal. I signed up.

The Career Path I Didn't Plan...

That's not all-

Little tid bits  you need to know

I enjoy sour candy, my homemade chocolate chip cookies, popcorn with Miss Vickie’s Salt and Vinegar chips and a perfect summer peach.

Fave cheesy quote:

“Find out who you are and do it on purpose.”

- Dolly Parton

These are some songs that could wake me from a coma:

Doctor Jones - Aqua
A New Day Has Come - Celine Dion,
Call on Me - Eric Prydz

I love sitcoms. And I will rewatch them 101 times.

I have never met a 1000-piece jigsaw I didn’t want to break my back for.

A high school teacher used to call me Michelle Loud-ee.

ALL CAPS is a call to living your life unapologetically in all your you-ness. It’s a space where we hit pause on the more, more, more so we can reconnect with how we want to show up—for ourselves, our circles, and our greater communities. Right here. Right now.

Introducing ALL CAPS Coaching

ALL CAPS: A Non-Negotiable Way of Being

01.

For me, ALL CAPS is fully showing up for myself by embracing my multi-facetedness. It’s owning that I thrive when I feel safe to be unapologetically me—both in boldness and vulnerability.

ALL CAPS also means showing up for others—cheering them on, offering support, and being present. It’s about connecting with my greater community through intentional moments of purposelessness and rejecting the obsession with hustle culture.

What ALL CAPS Means to Me

& What living in all caps looks like

02.

Levity – Permission to Laugh, Play & Be Seen Trying: The freedom to seek joy, play, make others laugh, and embrace the unserious.

Trusting the Gut – Integrity to Self: To trust my instincts and listen inward. If something isn’t working—pivot. If it no longer fits—pivot. If my way of working changes—pivot.

Courage – Doing, Not Just Saying: To walk the walk. To ask for help. To be open, vulnerable, and own my story. To release what no longer serves me.

Alone, Not Lonely – Loving My Own Company: It’s not just being alone—it’s enjoying it. Because wherever I go, there I am. So, get to know myself, make myself laugh, and carve out time for what I love.

Community – No Woman is an Island: Even when building alone. We are made for connection—supporting, rooting for, and being curious about each other.

The Core of ALL CAPS Coaching

The Five  Values that shape everything

03.

ALL CAPS is my non-negotiable way of being.

ALL CAPS because my commitment to showing up as myself is unwavering and loud.
ALL CAPS because my commitment to showing up for clients is solid and direct.
ALL CAPS because my commitment to showing up for my community is celebratory and authentic.

This is what I stand for. And if you're ready to step into your own unapologetic energy—I’m here to help you do it.
